A Quiet Forest Inside an Office
The moment you enter the new extension of Sovereign IT Solutions and turn left, you’re met with something unexpected: a cluster of sleek, brown tree branches, rising like silent sentinels against a plain white wall.
Roughly five feet tall, each branch stands distinct—varying in shape, thickness, and direction. The goal was simple: to create a subtle sensation of sitting in the woods, especially for the team seated facing the wall. A shift in atmosphere. A pause from the predictable.

An Idea Waiting for the Right Home
This concept was personal. I had seen versions of it in places that moved me—and I had pitched it to other clients before. But those projects took different directions.
Here, it felt right. Knowing Mr. Battineni Prakash Chowdary’s affection for trees and green spaces, I had a feeling he’d connect with the idea. And he did—instantly. Among multiple concepts presented, this was the very first to get a green light.
The Process: From Observation to Installation
As we searched for the right branches to match our 3D render, the young gooseberry tree outside my home caught my eye. Its natural form mirrored our design almost perfectly. I sent comparison photos to Mr. Prakash, and he too saw the resemblance immediately.
We selected and pruned the branches carefully, choosing portions that best fit the composition. Each piece was treated for termite resistance and climate durability, then mounted onto a custom steel structure.
Notably, this structure doesn’t touch the wall—it stretches between the massive support columns on either side, letting the branches hover with quiet presence.
The Response: Staring Into Stillness
As the office team arrived (they operate mostly at night, working with the U.S.), we stepped back and watched.
Some stood and stared. Others tilted their heads. No one said much at first—like viewers before an untitled painting.
That quiet contemplation was exactly what we hoped for.
We believe that if an artwork can hold someone’s attention—even for a few silent moments—it’s doing its job, especially in workspaces like these. These environments often run on speed and tasks. So if art can pause someone, even briefly, it’s serving a deeper purpose.
That was always the intent.
The artwork isn’t meant to shout—it’s meant to invite people in, hold their gaze, and give them something quiet to carry back to their desks.
A Lesson in Intuition and Stillness
This installation reminded me that not every artwork needs to be loud, literal, or filled with symbols. Sometimes, all it needs is a gut feeling—something quiet but certain.
And when paired with aesthetic clarity, it invites people into a new kind of experience.
